9 December, 2004new Apple start pageApple has replaced the old start up based on Netscape Network portal page with the new Apple start page available at http://www.apple.com/startpage/ The new Apple start page has more Apple information.

The old start page had a mixture of news, services (like maps and weather) in addition to Apple marketing. The new page is all marketing. I miss the news and services. How about bringing back other news and services to the top of the page? A mix of news and marketing was ok, but all SELL SELL SELL is not helping me keep up with the world. I also can't go to http://www.netscape.com because Safari still thinks it's Netscape/Apple.
