using Apple's single-button mouse, a guide for Windows users
Only one button? I don't know how to use single-button mouse
Don't worry, we will tell you that once you spend a few days with single-button mouse, you will find it is actually quite easy to use.
How do I make a right-click?
Before we start, the correct term is called “context click” or “contextual click”. It's a click to have context menu. Calling that "right click" is not a good usage for south paws.

I miss the scroll wheel, and I actually prefer to use a multi-button mouse. Can I use one?
Yes, those mice are well supported. Basically, you don't need to install any additional software for those mice, as long as they are USB or Bluetooth based. There is built-in support for scroll wheels.
Use the mouse the Mac way.
The Mac mouse is one button and is designed for easy drag and drop. Simply relax your arm, and put your hand on Apple Pro Mouse or Apple Wireless Mouse, and start dragging and dropping almost any objects in your Mac OS X desktop. You can do more drag and drop tasks than in any other platforms. For example, just select a paragraph in Safari, and drag it to desktop, you will than make a Text clipping (copy of your clip board). You can do similar for the images. Or even better, you can drag to another applications.
Besides the basic drag and drop job you can do under OS X (not available in Windows), you can also hold down the Option key or Command key (CMD,
). Just give it a try, and you will discover using a mouse is actually so easy, and you can actually do a lot more with a single button mouse.
