Apple released second generation iPods minis with a 4GB and 6Gb models pricing at US$199 and US$249 respectively. Colours are pink, blue, silver, and green. The new highlight is the 18 hours battery life. You can enjoy your music a lot longer now.

30 GB iPod photo model is now available for US$349 and a new 60GB model at US$449.

According to Apple, the 30GB model will hold 7,500 songs and the 60GB model with hold 15,000 songs, both models hold up to 25,000 digital photos and will feature the ability to import photos from a digital camera via the new iPod Camera Connector for instant viewing and slide show playback.

Meanwhile, Apple has discontinued its 40 gigabyte (GB), fourth generation iPod (clickwheel) and iPod photo. There are two models of iPod photos available now: 30GB and 60GB.
