Aperture 1.1 is a Universal application; it runs natively on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs. The update features dramatically improved RAW image rendering and a new set of advanced RAW adjustment controls. Also, it delivers impressive speed gains on any Mac.

Previously Aperture was priced at US$ 499 when if first released in October last year, the new lower price is US$299. Aperture is designed for professional photographers.
