Parallels Workstation 2.1 Beta 4 with full screen and dual-monitor support

Parallels Workstation 2.1 Beta 4 is now available for download. The price has cut US$ 10 if you pre-order it.
New features in this release:

Introduced full screen mode

Introduced dual-monitor support

Improved real CD/DVD support

Improved, easier to use interface.

Better sound support, including a fix for Windows 2000 guest OS

Networking kernel panics resolved

Bridged networking issues fixed

WiFi networking issues fixed

Fixed some of the issues encountered when entering “Sleep” mode when a VM is running

Many other minor bug fixes

We reported Parallels Workstation 2.1 on 6th April, it was the day after Apple released Boot Camp Beta.

Parallels Workstation 2.1 for Mac OS X requires Macs with Intel processors. Thanks to The Daily Mac for the news.

This report is partly innacurate. Parallels Workstation is the Windows/Linux version of the product, not the Mac version. The Mac version is Parallels Desktop and it does not currently support dual-monitors. However, I know there are many who really want that feature, including myself. I do believe we'll see it at some point in the Mac product.

I didn't notice the date of this post. In April, the Mac version may have still been called Parallels Workstation. They changed it at some point to Paralles Desktop for Mac. Nonetheless, there is currently no dual-monitor support in the Mac product.
