EyeTV 2.3.2 adds PiP and Australian EPG support

Elgato has updated EyeTV, a popular software for watching analogue and digital TV on Mac, to version 2.3.2. The new features include new device support, Picture-in-Picture (PiP) support. And if you live in Australia, this is a good news for you: EyeTV now has Australian EPG support (via IceTV).

Electronic Program Guide in Australia

EyeTV 2.3.2 adds support for IceTV, the premier Internet program guide in Australia. IceTV offers:

  • Seven days of searchable program guide data
  • Full program descriptions, episode names, ratings, viewing format, and many other handy details.
  • Use IceTV’s Personal Interactive Media Planner (“PIMP”) to remotely schedule programs to record from your mobile phone or web browser

To create an IceTV account that will be free of charge for one month, run the EyeTV Setup Assistant and click Create Account on the IceTV registration panel. At the end of the free period, you will be offered a discount for renewing your IceTV subscription.

Note that a subscription is not required for EyeTV to continue to function.
