UniversalWith the release of Adobe Creative Suite 3, there's a new addition to Photoshop family - Photoshop CS3 Extended. This specialised version of Photoshop includes features geared towards image analysis, 3D, and motion support for video and animation along with all of the features in Photoshop CS3.

Photoshop CS3 Extended adds a measurement log palette, calculates value ranges in images, a scale marker, and supports multiple 3D model file formats, texture editing for 3D models, an enhanced vanishing point feature that measures in perspective on 3D models. The video post production tools include layer support in frame-by-frame video editing, exporting to several video formats and Flash.

For video post production, Adobe also released Creative Suite 3 Production Premium suite. It contains After Effects CS3 Professional, Premiere Pro CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Flash CS3 Professional, Illustrator CS3, Soundbooth CS3, Encore CS3, OnLocation CS3, Ultra CS3, Dynamic Link, Device Central CS3, and Adobe Bridge CS3.
