Snapz Pro X 2.1, now Universal Binary

Snapz Pro XUniversalA popular screen capture software (with movie capturing ability) and SillyDog701's official screen capturing tool, Snapz Pro X has finally available in Universal Binary with version 2.1 released on 21st June. Snapz Pro X first support Intel-based Macs in version 2.0.3 released in August last year.

Major enhancements in this version:
* Snapz Pro X is now a Universal Binary that runs natively on PowerPC and Intel Macs
* Added support for QuickTime compression sessions, H.264 multipass encoding

Snapz Pro X 2.1

  • Delete scratch files when canceling and deleting a movie capture
  • Prevent deadlock when opening the output file requires user interaction in the Finder
  • Updates Ambrosia Audio Support kext to version 2.3.0
Snapz Pro X 2.1 costs $69. Upgrades from Snapz Pro X 1.0 w/ movie capture are $20. This is a free update to registered users of Snapz Pro X 2.0.

Requirements
Snapz Pro X 2.1 works with all Macintosh computers running Mac OS X version 10.3.9 or later.

Snapz Pro X 2.0.3 was released on 26th August 2006. Snapz Pro X 2.0.2 was released on 31st May 2005.
