OpenOffice.org for Mac 3rd development preview

OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X

On 19th March, the OpenOffice.org Mac Porting team have released the third snapshot of Aqua version of OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X. This snapshot brings a number of improvements including using native print dialogue, various bugs, crashes, performance and cosmetic improvements.

For detail about this release, please refer to this OpenOffice.org page.

If you are ready to try it, you can download OpenOffice.org Aqua (Development Preview).
OpenOffice.org Aqua requires Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Making a backup of any documents used in OpenOffice.org Aqua is recommended. Leopard's Time Machine is a great tool for this task.

The OpenOffice.org Mac Porting Project aims to port OpenOffice.org to run on Mac OS X natively without X11.
