iPhone 3G

Apple has released the long anticipated iPhone 3G in 22 countries. The iPhone 3G features all the revolutionary features of iPhone with 3G networking that is twice as fast as the first generation iPhone, and only half of the cost. New Zealand and Australia are among the first two countries to sell iPhone 3G. MacCentre701's Antony bought his iPhone 3G from Apple Store Sydney.

iPhone 3G comes with built-in GPS for expanded location based mobile services, and iPhone 2.0 software which includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and runs the hundreds of third party applications already built with the recently released iPhone SDK.

iPhone 3G also takes the advantage of MobileMe service, an internet service that pushes email, contacts, and calendars to native applications on iPhone, iPod touch, Macs and PCs.

.Mac service is now being migrated into MobileMe. iPhone 3G will be available in more than 70 countries later this year.
