As announced back in WWDC 2008, .Mac is now MobileMe. Apple today released the Mac OS X Update for MobileMe.

The Mac OS X Update For MobileMe is recommended for users running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.4 and includes general system fixes that enhance your Mac for MobileMe.

Once the update is applied, the System Preferences will have MobileMe instead of .Mac.

Already on .Mac subscription? Your .Mac account will be automatically converted to MobileMe account, and you can keep using your current .Mac email, id etc.
