Apple yesterday released the sixth update to Mac OS X Leopard, making the version to 10.5.7. This update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard, it includes many security fixes, improvements, and bug fixes, including additional RAW image support for several third-party cameras, improved performance of video playback, solved a problem with Unit Converter for those who has installed Safari 4 Beta, and improvements on iCal, Mail, Parental Controls and printing.

Mac OS X 10.5.7 Update includes fixes and improvements for both PowerPC and Intel-based Mac. Apple also releases Security Update 2009-002 for Mac OS X Tiger (v.10.4.11). Security Update 2009-002 for Mac OS X Leopard is included in this Mac OS X 10.5.7 Update.

Apple released Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on 26 October 2007, the first update was released in mid November 2007, the second update was released in mid February 2008, followed by Mac OS X 10.5.3 in late May, Mac OS X 10.5.4 in late June, Mac OS X 10.5.5 in mid September, and Mac OS X 10.5.6 in mid December 2008. Leopard is packed with over 300 new features, installs easily, and works with the software and accessories users already have.
